If you are someone like me who uses a Home Theater system with Kodi via Audio Passthrough, you would notice that sometimes you are just limited to low audio sound (even on max volume) and also external Bluetooth speakers not producing the level of audio you need even if you have increased the volume to the max? Well this Tip that I normally use will get you covered.

By entering the navigation menu while playing a media, simply choose Audio Settings and you will be presented by the options as per image above (your options view might look different based on the theme you use). From there simply tune the below options to suit your ears:

  1. Volume – Click and move the slider left or right to increase or decrease the volume based on what you need (in my case, I normally leave this at default and concentrate more on option 2).
  2. Volume amplification – Click and move the slider left or right to increase or decrease the volume amplification level to suit your ears. I normally mess out with this settings only to get what I desire, but both options are available and will help you get what you want.

Below is a video demo of how it’s done (sorry not able to share the audio output, well you know why!):

This method also helps while you are unable to change the volume level from Kodi (or the device running Kodi) due to the Passthrough option being enabled.
