Penang is known for a lot of tourist attractions. Each time I am there, there is always something for me to look-out for, being it something interesting or just some good food to munch on. Some time back I manage to stop by “Clan Jetties” which is actually a Floating Village in Penang which has become a tourist attraction more than a settlement village.

As per Wonderful MalaysiaThe small villages are characterized by old traditions and habits, from candles outside the door to complete prayer temples inside the house. In total there are six of these villages, in every village lives one clan, and every village has their own temple. The houses are built of a special kind of wood, which makes them resistant to the influences of the seawater.

So here is a Video of me Just walking around Clan Jetties

The experience for me was very new, there were a lot of interesting things to look at. Most of the villagers do sell souvenirs but they seem to be a bit pricey. If you are someone who just like to visit places, go here and have a good walk looking around, as that’s going to be a totally new experience.

Note: This video was recorded 2 years ago before the pandemic and I only got a chance to post it today, incase the place looks different. Will update the video here once I revisit the place.
